As a team player you will perform a variety of duties within a Housekeeping Operation such as:

1. Maintaining clean and sanitary conditions in areas such as patient rooms, washrooms, corridors, hallways, and common areas; 
2. Cleans areas including floors, stairways, walls, windows and ceilings by sweeping, vacuuming, dust mopping, spot washing and wet washing; 
3. Cleans and disinfects washrooms; 
4. Strips and makes beds; 
5. Picks up soiled laundry and linens; 
6. Cleans Nursing area and isolation rooms including washing of furniture; 
7. Cleans upholstered furniture and carpets by vacuuming, shampooing, and brushing. 
8. Performs other related duties as assigned. 

Hours of work: 07:00 – 15:10, Rotating days


Salary/Wage: $19.32 per hour

Needed Work Force: 

1. Hospital Cleaners  : 25 workers
2. Office Cleaners      : 30 workers
3. School Cleaners     : 20 workers
4. Hostel Cleaners      : 15 workers

This is a Casual opportunity. Casual means there are no guaranteed hours and work requirements can vary from 0 - 37.5 hours per week and the pay is $19.32 per hour.

Qualifications Needed:

• Education, Training and Experience should be equivalent to Grade 10
• Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
